Rothschild Five Arrows Principal Investments Acquires Voogd & Voogd
Five Arrows Principal Investments has acquired Dutch insurance company Voogd & Voogd from Bencis Capital Partners
Founded in 1909, Voogd & Voogd is today a leading technology-enabled insurance distribution and software platform. Providing a range of value-added administrative services and solutions, the company’s platform forms the commercial and logistical link between insurers and brokers in the Netherlands.
In addition, the company provides industry-specific software services which collectively enable customers to have an efficient value chain integration.
“We are delighted to have used our extensive insurance technology sector experience on this transaction, once again advising FAPI on an exciting TMT investment” commented Richard Hall, CloudOrigin CEO who led the Technology and Operational Due Diligence for the deal.
Bencis backed the company in September 2013. It is based in Middelharnis, The Netherlands and generates turnover of around €32m linking insurers with around 2,000 brokers.
Ardian Private Debt and CVC Credit Partners provided financing for the deal.
